You know how you can be going 90 miles an hour on a skateboard, face plant or get kicked in the face with a soccer ball and yet the most painful thing is a papercut? This will knock your socks off: I did something ten times worse. I had this huge, very sharp knife that I was cutting tiny limes with. Well, it seems that I missed my finger and cut it. What made it even more sunshiney (=D) is that I squirted lime juice INTO the cut. How fun?

LOL
I have something really funny to say. You know how you love laughing at my pain(at least my friends do)? Well here's what happened:

Horses
I went on a two hour bike ride with my sister and we stopped to feed the horses (I'll see if she'll let me upload the pictures from her phone) behind the high school. I was trying to pull out a weed when I realized it was two hard and old to give it to them. But I didn't realize before something bit me. I'm still not sure what it was, but me finger turned red with white dots, and now it's covered in gray dots. Hmm.

Olive Tree's Contest
Olive Tree's blog, Horse Feathers, has reached 100 followers! She is having a photography contest about something or someone that inspiries you. Theses are my two entries:
This is my cousin, Matt. It's goofy picture of him, because that's what he is: Goofy. He's my inspiration, because he can make me happy when I'm not in the mood to. Even, though, sometimes he can be a know-it-all, it's fun to be around him. Only ten days appart, I don't know what I'd do without him.
This tree inspires me, because I love night. And it represents me. I stand out like the bright, colorful tree that stands out in the pitch black night.
(This pics just for fun, cause you can only have two entries.)
This is Matt's little sister, Analise. Like, Matt she's goofy, but more like crazy goofy. ;) Lise tends to be very gross, though. One time she made "June Bug Soup" with rotten ice-cream and dead june bugs sitting out in the sun for two days. But, hey, Lise has a happy spirit and she's my inspiration.

Short Story: Lost in the Hall of Fame
This is a story I wrote for Treble Clef's writing contest. This is all fictional, but I based it on what could've happened to my cousin, Matthew Gerlach. He did have to choose between Baseball and Basketball and chose basketball. I thought that could've happened to him if he kept playing. So, please, no hurtful comments, but honestly, I didn't think it was that good, either.
Lost in the Hall of Fame
There was a huge CRACK! as the baseball bat slammed into the ball and it flew into the air, soaring higher and higher, up into the sky. Home run. The crowd let out in a roar cheering like crazy New York Yankee® fans. Because that’s what they were. They continued cheering throughout the whole stadium until it was the only thing that could be heard.
∙∙∙∙
Jim Kaat and Red Barber were already chatting it up, talking about that play. “So, Red, what do you think about that hit?” Jim asked, holding the microphone in one hand. “Well,” Red replies, “I think that was downright amazing. A rooky like that, scoring a home run just when we need it? The Yankees® were right to pick that kid out of the draft.” Jim nods. “I think we have the World Series locked up. It’s the bottom of the ninth and there’s no way the Rangers are going to have a comeback.” Leaning into the microphone, Red says, “I agree. Matthew Gerlach is one amazing baseball player. Three minutes, fifty-four seconds to go and the Yankees® have zero outs. We’d have to have the next three people strike out and it would be a miracle for the Rangers to get another point. Back to you, Jim.” Jim takes his Yankees® baseball hat and puts it on. “This is going to be an exciting game for you New York Yankees® fans. Back to the game, the score four to three, Yankees® in the lead.”
∙∙∙∙
Matt Gerlach jogged around the bases, so excited he felt like doing a cartwheel. The Yankees® would win, he thought, because of his home run. Because of him.
When he neared home plate, he stomped on it with his right foot as he ran past it, leaving a dusty footprint.
When he reached the dugout, his teammates were instantly on him, clapping him on the back, and nearly jumping over him. Matt was almost speechless, but not totally. “Thanks, guys. I couldn’t have done that without your help. You took me in like your own little brother.”
The most experienced player made his way through to Matt and put his hands on his shoulders. “We didn’t score that home run, you did.” That put a smile on Matt’s face and then they continued cheering for him.
∙∙∙∙
Years later, Matthew Gerlach was put into the Hall of Fame, and as you figured, the New York Yankees® won the World Series that year. But that wasn’t what really happened.
You see, Matt was a baseball player from the day he was born. He had a choice to make. He had a choice whether or not to play select baseball from the age of nine. Matt chose not baseball, but basketball. He was good at it, even tall, but not as good as he was baseball. That is what would’ve happened. What could’ve happened. What will never be. I wish things could have been different. Lost in the hall of fame. . . .

Midland: Day Two
I woke up, got dressed and we went to Barnes and Noble. We were there for a while. More like three and half hours, but I got to buy this book I love called Maze Runner. It's REALLY good. After that, we went out to eat at Olive Garden. Then, we went to the movies. Some went to Knight and day, some went to The Last Airbender (that would be me). I was a little disappointed since I watch the cartoon series and it wasn't near as good, but for book one, it was alright. We came home, STILL raining, and pretty much went to bed. Not that exciting day, but Fourth of July is tomarrow and I'm sure it will be better (not that it wasn't fun).

A Wedding
Tonight, we went to a wedding. Liz Callerman, now Liz Anderson, got married. She lived across the street from us and my older brothe andd sister grew up with her. The wedding was pretty fun. They did the cupid shuffle and rode off in a Model T (one of the first cars). What was really cool was the way they met. Jason was in the army and she wrote letters to him and sent care packs. When he got out of the army, they went and met each other. Of course, THEN, they fell in love. Cute, huh?
You guys know my best friends, Laurence, Alan, and Payton, who I mention alot? Well, soon I'll be uploading a pic of all four of us.

Birthday Parties
About a week ago, I went to Danielle's birthday party at Gameworks. It's this awesome place where you get to play games. Payton, Riley, Alex, and I rode this one parachute ride where you up and down. It was a pretty cool birthday party.
This night, I went to Michelle's pool party. When we got there, we went swimming then ate hot dogs for dinner. After that, we watched Mrs. Doubtfire which was HILARIOUS! We ate cake and went outside to swim some more. It was pretty awesome, one of the best birthday parties I've gone to. Probablt because most all my friends were there, but still. Summer's going to be real fun. . . .
BTW, please look at the post below!

Last Walk
The Last Walk Around is where we walk around the school in the last five minutes. It was funny, because last year, EVERYONE cried and this year, NO ONE cried. Lot of people got teary, though. Laurence and Alan were crying tears of joy and running through the croud. I thought I would start bawlig, but I didn't. I'm still sad, but no tears have come. Now, I'm at the pool party!!

Kid Country
I might have mentioned Kid Country in my last post. Well, it's this huge, awesome playground. During school we went there from 11:35 to 2:00. This is what happened:
When we got there, we had lunch. After that we just played around until we had to do an easy, little project. What we had to do was find the perimeter of the playgroung (trust me, it's huge) and at first we were like, "How are we supposed to do that!?" But we smartie GT kids (Alan, Laurence, Payton, and I) found out. There were these red squares around the whole place and they were 18 inches and there was 357 of them. So we found out the perimeter. ;) The rest of the time we got to do whatever we wanted. We played Lava Tag. It's just tag, but you can't touch the woodchips. I guess I did the monkey bars too much, cause I got two HUGE blistors! Did you know blisters are filled with puss? *Nodds* Then Payton was chasing me and I jumped from one platform to another and jumped TOO far. I face-planted into the ground and now my leg has a HUGE (am I using HUGE too much?) bruise and a deep cut. My friends and I were cracking up.
Well, that's another random day in my summer life.

Field Day
We had our VERY LAST Feild day EVR. *Tear* But it was fun. We were always with our little "group" (Laurence, Alan, Payton, and I). We did relay races first, then dancing, tug-a-war, lunch, Kid Country, kick ball, and swimming.
Funny Moments:
During one of the relay races, I was going through tires and half way through them, I fell flat on my face. LOL
When we were dancing to the songs that were playing, we tried to get my older brother, Jordan, to dance. Not only that, but Alan and Laurenece were doing some pretty awkward moves.
When we did boys versus girls in tug-a-war, all the girls let go and the boys all fell down, lus we won. Also, Payton was in the loop at the end of the rope and the boys kept pulling the rope and she was dragged across the ground and went OVER Erin. It was HILARIOUS!!
At lunch, Laurence and I got into a water fight with the water bottles, but I LOVE dark, cold, and wet things. Aren't I such a bright and sunny person? (Don't answer that.) We ended up using three water bottles EACH. Now, THAT was funny.
At kid country, Laurence's little brother (who had been with us the whole time), Alfred, punched Alan in the balls, like, 15 times. Ouch. Sucks for you, Alan! BTW, he's five. He als said some pretty bad words for a five-year-old.
At kick ball, nothing exciting really happened. Except my toe. . . . That's a WHOLE nother story.
Swimming. When I jumped off the diving board, I did a 360 twist and landed in a backflop (a bellyflop, but on your back). Then, when we were in the kiddy pool, we were playing this game where two people held hands and everyone else tried to catch them and pull them apart. Let's just say I had a VERY tight grip. So, I did it with Jack and we had held on for, like, forever and I say, "Jack, I'll never let go." LOL

Storm
Well, this is the first summer storm. I was outside climbing trees. Real smart. Especially with the tornado alarm sounding. I also went out on my trampaline. Aren't I the safest person? LOL It was really fun though, beacuse I was with my friens, Alex and Lauren. I also love things that are cold, wet, and dar, so I LVE storms. This was a pretty fun day.

Rubber Ducky your the one,
you make bath time lots of fun!
It's from Sesame Street. Well, I didn't make this, but take this button if you know this song (it's on the sidebar)! I brought it up, because my friends sing it ALL the time. ;)

Story
I'm working on a story about the old west. Something that I just always loved. Here's a summary:
It's 1848 in North Texas and once again, there's a break out of fights between the Vaqueros in Mae's town. But what if she falls in love with Nate, one of the young mexican coyboys? Will she turn him down or turn against her family? You'll have to find out.

Audition
Today, I'm going to a comercial audition. There are about 100 people auditioning, but I still won't have a chance. The only experience I have is taking acting classes when I was, like, four. **Sigh** Wish me luck!

Sky Ranch
For my first official post, I would like to talk about the time my grade went to Sky Ranch about two weeks ago. Here we go:
Day One
We took a bus (der!), but is was awesome cause the bus could hold like 45 people, but there were only, like, about 30. Out of all the funny things we did during those two hours were, one, laughing randomly for no reason, and, two, playing this emo game. Once we got there, we went to our cabins (my friends and I got the haunted one, of course). That's when the boring schedule came. Lunch, class, class, and finally the fun rec. time! First, I went to the water slides with my friend, Micheal. They were SO fun, even though they didn't look like it. Then, with my luck, someone left their mat on the ground and I slipped on it. I fell and gave myself some bad cuts, but kept on going down the slides. Usual me. =D After that, we got some more people and went to the party pool. We played in the pool, went down baby pools, and jumped off a trapeze into the water. When the two hours were over, we had dinner, then went to the night activities. The first one was clue. And when I mean clue, I mean real suspects and stuff. We ran all over camp looking for the answers. Our cabin was the only cabin that got everything right. :) Then, we went to play Nukom (like volleyball, but you catch it), but we play it at school and everyone HATES it, so we weren't too thrilled, but it was so much better. If you dropped the ball, you're out, and it was on a sand court at night. NO ONE wanted to go to bed that night and we kept passing notes to each other from our bunks. What a day. . . .
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day Two
When we woke up, we got ready to head over to breakfast. After that, more of the boring routine. Class, Lunch, Class, Class, and rec. time! All me and Lauren did for 45 minutes was sit, talk, and smush lady bugs. Don't forget being bit by spiders! Once Micheal and Jack got there, we went to the Sky Cafe for Milkshakes, which I bought. Talk about crazy times! Lauren was laughing so hard, she spit her chewed up Shockers (sour candy) into her milkshake, Parker was staring at us from inside, and I was literally spitting up my milkshake. It was also funny, cause I kept saying, "I'm going crazy," and Lauren kept on replying, "Madi, for the last time, your not going crazy. You ARE crazy!" Don't forget the night activities! The first thing we did was preform our skits (all skits coming soon). The fun part was that the Sky Ranch consulars had a couple of skits themselves. The most special part was that we watched fireworks by the lake, which is a lucky treat they don't do that very often at Sky Ranch. Time to head back to the cabins. . . .
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day Three
In the morning, we packed our bags and loaded them up. Then, we went to breakfast, a class, and lunch. After that we got onto the bus and headed home. :( Although, the bus ride was SO much fun. We played M.A.S.H and I married my friend Laurence! :P But it was fun. XD For the rest of the bus ride, we sang songs and when we entered Coppell, we all sang one of the High School cheers that goes something like this:
C-O! C-O-P! C-O-P-P-E-L-L! Coppell! **Clap, Clap** Cowboys (mascot)!
Huh? Huh? **Elbows person sitting next to Me**
